Parallel parking using the 1-2-1 method on your driving test

How to reverse park using the pizza slice method.

In this video we're going to have a look at how to reverse park or parallel park using the 1-2-1 method but it also involves seeing an imaginary pizza slice in the side mirror!

The objective of this on the driving test is to safely park within 2 car lengths behind the other vehicle, reasonably close and parallel to the kerb.

Moving the left hand mirror down slightly before you start will help and you're allowed to do this on the driving test too.

Other manoeuvres that are not tested but recommended to practise are the 'turn in the road' and the 'reversing around a corner' exercise.
